1. Faculty Profile & Study Programs

Study Program Accreditation Status:

  • Bachelor of Accounting (S1): Accredited
  • Bachelor of Management (S1): Accredited
  • Bachelor of Development Economics (S1): Accredited

FEB Vision Statement:

"To become a leading research-based Faculty of Economics and Business education by 2036."

2. Academic System & Credit Load

  • Undergraduate Study Load: Minimum of 144 credits (SKS) with a maximum study period of 7 years (14 semesters).
  • 1 Credit (SKS): Equivalent to 170 minutes of learning activities per week per semester.
  • 1st & 2nd Semester Workload: Maximum of 20 credits per semester.
  • Subsequent Semester Workload (based on Semester GPA / IPS):
    • IPS > 3.00: Maximum 24 credits
    • IPS 2.50 – 3.00: Maximum 21 credits
    • IPS 2.00 – 2.49: Maximum 18 credits
    • IPS 1.50 – 1.99: Maximum 15 credits
    • IPS < 1.50: Less than 12 credits
  • Short Semester (Intersession): Conducted over 8 weeks (equivalent to 16 lectures/exams), with a maximum of 9 credits.

3. Academic Evaluation & Grading System

Final Examination Eligibility: Minimum 80% class attendance requirement.

4. Undergraduate Thesis / Final Project

Options available: Regular Undergraduate Thesis or Scientific Article Publication Track.

Requirements for Thesis Defense Exemption & Awarding Grade A:

  • Article published in a scientific journal indexed at least Sinta 4 or an International Journal.
  • Or published in a National ISSN Journal (mandatory dissemination/presentation alongside supervisor).

5. Graduation Requirements & Honors

Graduation Requirements:

  • Passed a minimum of 144 credits.
  • Cumulative GPA (IPK) of at least 2.25.
  • Maximum of 3 courses with a grade of 'D' (excluding compulsory national courses/MKWN).
  • Minimum TOEFL score of 450 (UNIGA Language Center).

Graduation Honors / Predicates:

  • With Praise (Cum Laude): Cumulative GPA > 3.50 (Max. study duration 4 years).
  • Very Satisfactory: Cumulative GPA 3.01 – 3.50.
  • Satisfactory: Cumulative GPA 2.76 – 3.00.

6. Freedom to Learn - Independent Campus (MBKM)

Students are eligible to take up to 3 semesters of MBKM programs (1 semester within UNIGA, 2 semesters outside UNIGA). Eligibility requires completion of the first 4 semesters with a minimum Cumulative GPA of ≥ 2.75.

7. Academic Administration

  • Academic Leave (BSS): May be requested after the 2nd semester, for a maximum of 2 semesters.
  • Non-Active Status: Students without re-registration or approved leave will still have the period counted toward their maximum study duration.
  • Academic Dismissal (Drop-Out): Applicable if the study duration exceeds 7 years (14 semesters).
